What is Genius to me ...

Everyone one of us will use this word Genius in their lifetime at least once. What does it mean actaully? When we see a person who solves a toughest puzzle or a toughest problem in mathematics we say "He is Genius" . Is Genius an inborn talent? After a long debate in my mind I am here to pool my views on Genius. The celebrated inventor Thomas Alva Edison is famous for his statement:

"Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration."

When i debated about Genius in my mind another interesting word came in to my mind. - Hardwork. Does Genius and Hardwork have any relationship? I believe that hardwork is essential to a life of real success and fulfillment, I think that being filled with deep sense of inspiration and commitment to making a difference in the world is even more important attribute. All of the great geniuses of the world were inspired and driven by their desire to enrich the lives of others. It consumed them and occupied every cell of their minds.Edison was inspired to manifest the visions he saw on the picure screen of his imagination in to reality. As Woodrow Wilson said,

"You here not to make a merely living. You here are in order to
enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with
a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich
the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand."

Truth of Love

"It hurts to love someone and not to be loved in return, but what is the most painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let the person know how you feel."

Sometimes quotes speak more than 100 lines of passage..

Difference Maker

"The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.You don't blame them on your mother, the ecology or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny."
- Psychologist Albert Ellis

A freshman at his first collegiate football practice broke away for an eighty-yard touchdown. His teammates looked at him in amazement and disbelief. His coach shouted,"Kid you're going to have quite a future around here".Later, his excited beautiful girlfriend kissed him.His life at that moment was completely satisfying .His future was bright!

Yet, nothing in that young man's life measured up to that football moment. He never made it to the 'big time' as everyone thought he would:his business career wasn't successful, his marriage went sour, and his life dragged. The pain of failures became even greater when he reflected on that perfect football day. That eighty yards was bitter sweet in his mind; it was pleasant, but in the past.

Many of us waste our lives struggling to either recapture moments we experienced in the past or stumble on to an elusive perfect future.

But, waiting expectantly for something to appear around the corner is merely reacting to life.Take responsibility for your thoughts and your actions and grasp the future you want for yourself. One cannot sit around and wait for a life to find you; one have to go and get it.
